Thornbury Holiday park is ideally located to explore the North Cornwall coast with surfing beaches at Bude. Port Isaac where Doc Martin is filmed and the fishing port of Padstow, home to Rick Stein’s famous seafood restaurant are along this coastline together with the former fishing village of Clovelly, which is a privately owned village with beautiful sea views. This little gem is a must, with no cars, it's sure to be one of the quirkiest places you will visit!

 

Further tourist attractions in the area include the National Trust Village of Boscastle, Tintagel with nearby castle are associated with the legends surrounding King Arthur and the knights of the Round Table. The Big Sheep and the Milky Way theme parks which are located just off the A39 (the Atlantic Highway). Bodmin Moor, Dartmoor and Exmoor are within driving distance for wonderful walks. The Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan near St Austell are nearby all year round attractions.
